It is jointly governed and funded by local, state and territory governments; with the aim of improving wellbeing and independence of those with significant and permanent disabilities. To apply for NDIS funding, you will first need to make a request to access the funding. To do this you can contact 1800 800 110 and ask to make an Access Request. You can also request a paper form to lodge an Access Request, please ask us if you would like assistance with obtaining and lodging this form.

The first step is to contact NDIS for a review. If you are over 65 years old you are not eligible to apply however, if you are in receipt of NDIS when you turn 65 years old you get to keep your support.
